There is this woman that Jesus found near a well, then asked her to give him water. Why did she refuse to give Jesus a cup of water? Was it because she had five husbands? Then the lord said unto her, “Go and call your husband,” but she said she had no husband and the lord approved that she was indeed telling the truth, “in fact you have told me the truth, you have had five husbands and the one you are with now is not your husband, some are in the bush.” “well the lord didn’t reply to her exactly that way, but you know the Samaritans were unfriendly to the Jews, so seeing a Samaritan woman speak so gently to a Jewish man was kind of interesting for the apostles to watch at.” Said the reverend.
